Wizard
"YER A WIZARD! There's been tensions between the Space Wizards Federation and NanoTrasen. So you've been selected by the Space Wizards Federation to pay a visit to the station. Give them a good demonstration of your powers. What you do is up to you, just remember the Space Wizards want you to make it out alive."
THE WIZARD is a major antagonist that can spawn both at round start and as a midround ghost role. They are members of the powerful Space Wizards Federation, and recognize neither the laws of the Syndicate or NanoTrasen.
The Wizard's goal is simple - to survive their time on the station, and to demonstrate the might and majesty of the noble Space Wizard's Federation to the members of the station. Make those puny mortals remember their place!
Your Mystical Vessel

Regardless of whether you join as a roundstart or ghostrole Wizard, you will spawn aboard your very own Wizard Shuttle. The ship is ornately designed, and contains basic amenities and equipment for your visit to the station. It hosts the following rooms:
- Your bedroom, where you'll spawn. Contains your Suit Locker.
- A small bathroom with a bar of Omega Soap.
- The engine room area, which contains a loaded Utility Belt and Stealth Box.
- A docking airlock, which contains a pair of Combat Gloves, Mini-Jetpack, and Chameleon Gas Mask.
- An equipment room with many of your more powerful items.
- A Space Bear enclosure, complete with a human corpse.
- An office, which contains a Long Range Fax Machine an Wireless Camera Monitor.
- A rec room with tabletop roleplaying gear.
- The pilot's cockpit, with Rechargers, the Shuttle Console, an IFF Computer (make sure both options are turned off!), and the Wizard Communications Console, which allows you to proclaim a message for the entire station to hear.
The Wizard's Shuttle is a large and rather slow ship, so make sure you move carefully to avoid any accidental collisions that might blow your cover when approaching the station.
Starting Gear
The Wizard spawns with a variety of items, both on their person and aboard their vessel. While some of these are mundane (such as the Void Jetpack, Personal AI Device, etc.), some are unique to the Wizard. They are as follows:
Name | Description |
---|---|
Your magical spellbook which spawns in your pocket. Use it to buy a variety of spells and tools to power your incursion aboard Space Station 14! See here for more details. | |
Your default wizardly garments. These robes serve to immediately inform any onlookers that a practitioner of the arcane arts has arrived! Though they offer no protection against damage or space, they must be worn to cast some of the wizard's most powerful spells. Spare outfits of differing colors can be found in your ship's MagiVend. | |
Your spacefaring hardsuit, found in your bedroom's suit storage locker. Provides you with a number of robust damage resistances and a snazzy purple headlight. The usual alternative to your traditional Hat & Robe. | |
A purple belt that's designed to hold the various wands a Wizard may buy. Can hold up to eight wands. | |

Your starting PDA, which contains your ID and Pen. Your ID starts with Maintenance and Externals access, while your pen functions as a CyberSun Pen, allowing you to edit stamped documents. |
A robust ratvarian shield that spawns in your ship's equipment room. Compared to the Mirror Shield, it's a more traditional option, being more resistant to physical damage and sporting a larger health pool. | |

A glowing reflective shield that spawns in your ship's equipment room. It has rather low health and takes more damage from traditional damage sources, but offers a HUGE (95%) reflect chance. Fantastic against lasers. |
Wizards Grimoire

The bread and butter of the Wizard's magical arsenal. The Grimoire has a variety of Offensive, Defensive, and Utility spells to choose from, as well as an additional variety of Wands and Event spells to invest into. The Grimoire contains 10 Wiz€oins which are used to buy spells and effects. Using the Refund button in the Grimoire will revert all your purchases and return your Wiz€oin, but certain Event spells can disable this function.
