PAIs are ghost roles that are usually found around the game map and can be activated by anyone with hands. Once activated, pAIs will take the name "[ACTIVATOR]'s pAI" and lay idle until a ghost takes the role. Although they have no ability to move on their own, they can still be moved by others. You are able to slot 1 pAI into a PDA to save storage in your backpack. You can eject pAIs from a PDA the same way you would a pen or a cartridge, the right click context menu.
While as a pAI, you have access to hearing Common, however, you cannot speak on any radio channels.
Technical wise, you cant do much as a pAI. However the main appeal to this role is its RP potential. The most simple implementation is using your 'inbuilt' fun fact generator! These could be completely made up, or actually be real facts!
Keep your owner company, give them advice and cheer them on! The possibilities are endless, you just have to put your brain to use to come up with ideas for good roleplay!
Music
PAIs can play their own music with the Play MIDI action. The pAI soundfont is a simple semi-quiet retro tune with no drums and is suited better to high pitches.
Map
The pAI also comes equipped with a station map, although you will not have a marker showing your location. Very useful for its user when power is out, and you can report any interesting holes that appear on the map.
