Guide to Paperwork
Writing
To start writing, simply use a pen on a piece of paper. PDAs start off with a pen slotted inside of them, and can be ejected from the right click menu. Click the Save button on the bottom to save your changes.
Formatting
Several BBCode-like tags exist for formatting text:
[head=#]Text[/head]
creates a header, with a level from 1 to 3.[color=#rrggbb]Text[/color]
colors text, with a standard RGB hex color value.[bold]Text[/bold]
makes text bold.[italic]Text[/italic]
makes text italic.[bolditalic]Text[/bolditalic]
does both.[mono]Text[/mono]
makes text monospace, like code.[bullet]
renders a single bullet point.
Stamping
Stamping a paper embeds a mark on it, visible on the bottom of the paper. Once stamped, the paper's contents can no longer be edited by normal pens, making it also a form of protection (though some special pens like the Cybersun Pen can bypass this).
Department heads start off with stamps corresponding to their departments. A few other roles have stamps as well.
Fax Machine
Most departments have a fax machine that can send, receive, and copy documents. Use it to keep other departments of your cool artwork important decisions.
It can also print documents from text files stored on your (real life) computer. Once the paper looks just right, copy its contents into a text file with a plain text editor like Notepad, and save it. If the file starts with a number sign (#
) followed by some text, it will be stripped out and added as a label to the paper once printed.
