Since most of this page was written, the armor system has undergone a complete overhaul, including the addition of stamina and other mechanics, so not all information here reflects the current game version. Damage Types

There are multiple types of damage in the game, which all diffrent types of armor can protect you against! The following (damage types that can be protected against) damage types are as follows:

  • Radiation
  • Caustic
  • Blunt
  • Slash
  • Piercing
  • Heat
  • Cold
  • Shock
  • Explosion

Diffrent armors will have diffrent protections against these types, some may not have any however.

Armors

Remember, armor isn’t just about keeping you safe—it’s about protecting valuable Nanotrasen property (that’s you!). Think of it as a stylish, slightly uncomfortable way to ensure the company’s investment in you lasts at least until the end of your shift!
