Exosuit Fabricator
Exosuit fabricators are the beating synthetic heart of robotics. This crafting machine is where you will be printing the modules and parts for a cyborg, bots, and mechs. The fabricator will come with and can be found in the robotics section of the station.
Interfacing with the Fabricator
The fabricator will have no materials when you start your shift. If you are unable to craft anything please check that the crafting recipes are not grayed out. If they are then you will need to gather materials. Robotics is one of the heaviest users of materials so it is paramount to establish good relations with cargo early on. (If you do not see any crafting recipes click the server list in the top right and make sure that the RD server is selected)
To understand what you need to craft something that you would want you should hover your mouse over the specific item.
Once you have acquired the appropriate materials you can place them into the fabricator by holding the material in your hand and clicking on the fabricator.
To begin crafting just click on any of the desired modules or parts.
Tips
You will frequently have someone (like a cyborg) asking you to make an advanced module. If you can not find it within the Exosuit Fabricator it is likely something you have not researched yet. Many of the things that are craft able are hidden behind research.
Valuable materials to ask cargo for include: Plastic, Steel, Glass, Plasma, Silver, and Gold
Use the search bar to aide you in crafting things. Cyborgs consist of a lot of pieces so using the search bar efficiently can save you a lot of headache trying to find the right pieces.
