The Bloodpack is a basic topical that restores 5% blood upon use. It can be found in Medvend machines, medical supply lockers, [[Advanced First Aid Kit|Advanced First Aid Kits]], and as starting gear in medical belts. It is the only way to restore blood to a deceased crew member. As saline is usually readily available in medical and easy to produce, Bloodpacks are mostly outside of medical where saline is not available. Under most circumstances it is better to wait until someone is alive and give them saline as low blood levels do not prevent revival. Bloodpacks are the only basic topical that cannot be made using the [[Medical techfab]]. Since bloodpacks work on deceased lifeforms, they can be especially useful to use on a chemical slime(snake?) or a zombie corpse as they can restore blood levels and allow more reagents to be harvested from the corpses. This can be incredibly powerful as a few stacks of blood packs can yield multiple jugs of omnizine / Zombie Blood if applied to the respective corpses.
