The syndicate elite hardsuit is a 12 TC cost alternative to the standard Syndicate Hardsuit, available to Nuclear Operatives through the Uplink. - blunt damage reduced by 40%
The syndicate elite suit used to be the best hardsuit in the game outside of the deathsquad hardsuit. It has now lost that title but it is still a formidable foe. The elite suit slows you down by 10% when running.

- slash damage reduced by 40%
The elite suit provides the following protections:

- piercing damage reduced by 40%
* 40% protection against Slash, Blunt and Pierce.
* 50% protection against Caustic.
* 80% protection against Explosion and Heat.
* 99% protection against Radiation.

- heat damage reduced by 80%
(Note: when regarding suit values, this purely relates to the "suit" aspect of the suit itself. The elite helmet provides a further 10% damaged reduction in brute and heat damage, though this is multiplicative and not additive i.e 40% x 10% = 44% not 50% so as to not allow complete damage reduction.)

- caustic damage reduced by 50%
The syndicate elite hardsuit shares many similarities with its Syndicate Hardsuit cousin in both its rough stats and speed reduction. However, some key differences lay in the values and fireproofing ability of the elite suit.

- explosion damage reduced by 80%
The primary thing to note about the elite suit is its slightly reduced brute damaged reduction, being 10% lower than its blood-red counterpart. However, the elite suit more than makes up for this with its 80% heat reduction,  80% explosion reduction, and 99% radiation reduction, making you functionally immune to radiation damage.

(note: when regarding suit values this purely relates to the "suit" aspect of the suit itself the elite helmet provides a further 10% damaged reduction in all of the aforementioned categories though this is multiplicative not additive i.e 40% x 10% = 44% not 50% so as to not allow completely damaged reduction)

use cases
Although the elite suit may seem like the functionally better choice when compared to its counterparts, this may not be the case due to a number of complications.

The suit a prime choice in situations such as warops where most of the crew will be armed with laser or xray based weaponry dealing heat and radiation damaged respectively both of which are heavily reduced by the elite suit
Primarily, its 12 TC cost. This makes the suit cost 30% of a standard Nuclear Operative's TC. Take into account that a Nuclear Operative already spawns with a blood-red hardsuit. This functionally makes it a 20TC 50% cost item. (Provided you're not giving the suit to a Reinforcement Teleporter and/or monkey) This forces the user to make compromises in their firepower and/or utility in most situations. However, if the commander declares war, then the extra TC mitigates this downside.

The suit is also a prime choice when either yourself or a fellow Nuclear Operative are using a weapon such as the chinalake due to its 80% explosion damage reduction minimizing any potential self inflicted or friendly fire damage
Another con lies in its 10% speed reduction. Wherein unlike the blood-red counterpart that can somewhat make up for this with standard brute damage reduction, the elite suit has 10% lower brute damage reduction, meaning that if you are already weak and/or retreating, it is much easier to get rushed and gunned down by crew who are using ballistic weapons.

An elite version of the syndicate hardsuit, with improved mobility and fireproofing. Property of the Gorlex Marauders.

Overview

The syndicate elite hardsuit is a 12 TC cost alternative to the standard Syndicate Hardsuit, available to Nuclear Operatives through the Uplink. The suit is void-faring and is fitted with an inbuilt flashlight. Unlike any other syndicate armor alternatives, the elite suit provides 100% fireproofing, completely removing any damage being set on fire may cause to your character. (Note: this does not include damage from sources such as heat and/or explosions.)

Stats

The syndicate elite suit used to be the best hardsuit in the game outside of the deathsquad hardsuit. It has now lost that title but it is still a formidable foe. The elite suit slows you down by 10% when running.

The elite suit provides the following protections:

 • 40% protection against Slash, Blunt and Pierce.
 • 50% protection against Caustic.
 • 80% protection against Explosion and Heat.
 • 99% protection against Radiation.

Differences

The syndicate elite hardsuit shares many similarities with its Syndicate Hardsuit cousin in both its rough stats and speed reduction. However, some key differences lay in the values and fireproofing ability of the elite suit.

Use cases

Warops.

The suit a prime choice in situations such as warops. Wherein many crew members will most likely be armed with either laser, or x-ray based weaponry. As these weapons deal heat and radiation damaged respectively, the elite suit offers great protection against these weapons.

China-Lake.

The suit is also a prime choice when either yourself, or a fellow Nuclear Operative are using explosive weapons such as the China-Lake grenade launcher. Since the suit sports 80% explosion damage reduction, this minimizes any potential self-inflicted or friendly fire damage.

Cons

Although the elite suit may seem like the functionally better choice when compared to its counterparts, this may not be the case due to a number of complications.
